Retry doesn't work on the boss fight

While fighting the boss, I realized I wasn't going to get 3 stars that run, so I went to Retry, but the button wasn't functioning... I used it on other license missions so I was caught off guard by it...
If it helps I was using the Nexon Launcher version, and also using a ps4 controller(which worked perfectly ^_^ ).
