There doesn't seem to be a way to upgrade karts currently. There's no difference among them but the appearances. So boring.

    I was confused as well. I remember during the latest trial we were able to upgrade the karts and make them faster

    Yeah We had an upgrade system in the beta tests. Also there is no Dev Blog mentioning this.
