Unable to enter matchmaking

I am trying to play the game on Steam, but am unable to start matchmaking. As I try to enter matchmaking, my character instantly jumps back out of the kart and I'm kicked from matchmaking. It doesn't matter which race mode I try to join or whether I'm alone or in a party, the game refuses to let me join matchmaking. I'm able to play online in custom games, so my network isn't an issue, but I can't do anything with matchmaking. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this issue, but have had no success.

    Same, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Verifying my files (there are 2 that are missing multiple times) updating my drivers. It will only let me play if one of my friends are online and I join them.

    I have been experiencing the same issue... And there is not fix...

    I tried to play through Steam and through the oficial launcher as well, but I haven't been able to play yet.
