Stuck at the race loading screen (Android)

After starting a race and the loading bars of all players have filled, the loading screen overlay remains on screen and I can't see the race. I can only hear the other racers and a kart reset sound that is playing on a loop for some reason.
This is the fist time when I am installing this app on Samsung Galaxy A13
Tried reinstalling the app and changing all settings to lowest but still the same.
