Rank and Point Protection for Grand Prix

Grand Prix mode is such a pain in the butt right now. The least the developers could do is add a point protection system once daily (and obtain more extra protection if we can get through other events and stuff).
Also a rank protection system that is triggered one time which protects us from being demoted to a lower rank. Already very painful losing a game and it's even more painful losing a rank. This protections would be so great since it gives us a chance to hang in there and give us another opportunity to move forward.
