I can play online in races just fine... but what exactly is the goal of the game?
Is the main goal just to play in online races over and over and over and hopefully have fun?
Is the goal to increase your Level (Lv.) points up to some max limit?
What about collecting things in the garage... I only see a few with no way to get more?
What is the goal of the game? There is no clear adventure mode/storyline.

I too feel that the game is very dull and boring.
For new racers it is fun but for veterans, it is missing a lot of the features that make Kart Rider fun.
You have to understand that in BETAs there will be limitations and everything is FREE to try.
I made my feedback if you want to check it out and I hope they make Kart Rider Drift fun and how veterans of the game remembered it.

    .

the game is in BETA, there will be items coming. remember this is the first beta, and it only last 3 days, if im not mistaken there will be more betas coming, this is the start, there will be more items, skins whatever you will call it. the game is to race and socialise with others. and who knows there might come a storyline in the future, if you youtube abit and watch the korean kart rider, the oldschool one, than you might see what the game have to offer in the future. REMEBER ITS STILL IN THE FIRST BETA STAGE.

I see, cheers. It's not targeted/built the same as the other excellent series (Crash Team Racing series, Sonic Racing series, or Mario Kart series) then. Will keep an open mind and see if the fun remains over-time.

    It's two things...

    1. The speed mode has an absurd skillcap, it would take you thousands of hours to actually be great at it. It's just not very straight-forward, so without seeing someone else do it, it's hard to even understand how you could improve.

    2. On a Korean stream they showed that countless other characters, character skins, and carts already exist (tons more tracks too). These are meant to exist in some kind of progression/monetization system... notice the colored rarities on each of the items, and the exp leveling system. The original game had a system to unlock better licenses that would grant you access to faster and faster races, which change the optimal lines/strategies on each map with each tier.

So yes it's a simple game, but it has incentive for hardcore players in it's technical difficulty, and will later have incentive for casual players in earning upgrades and cosmetics. The current build is basically just for crowd-sourced bug/server testing, not for comments on the progression or the breadth of the game's content.

So far there's no other point than sit in a lonely ass lobby and wait to connect to a game room. Very dull and boring if you ask me.

I see, but that wasn't clear at all from any of the documentation/text provided during the sign-up process or in-game. Thanks!

Are you aware of what a BETA consists of?

You dont seem to understand what he is asking. You are just being narrow-minded and don't seem to understand that it is, in fact, true that there was nothing set clear during the sign-up process. NOthing. They should have at least mentioned what you are suggesting, but nothing was mentioned. So we are here giving our suggestions and opinions and hoping that the actual release will have more than just a character in the middle of the screen, hoping for a good match with far more customization.

    Agree Agree Agree.
I encourage the Kart Rider Devs. to PLEASE go to Nexon Korea and see how this game should be officially launched.
People want that type of Kart Rider.
Beta was ok. It took me back when I was a kid and nostalgia hit on me on the first day of the beta.
To be honest I got bored of it after the 2nd day of the BETA and so I decided to check out how much has changed in the classic Kart Rider and wow I MUST play that version.
Make the many changes Nexon and come back even better in round 2 of the Beta.

Honestly, kartrider is the only kart racing I've played in my life. I've played mario kart with my friends a few times but control-wise, kartrider's complicated driving mechanics makes it more interesting than mario kart. now i've never played the other games so i'm not entirely sure what makes the other series so great so can you explain that to me(I'm genuinely curious) ?

honestly, they should bring the current og kartrider to global servers. only difference between back then and now is that stores don't have as much item diversity as it used to have and we have faster karts and tuning systems

Mario Kart is ok. It was my first Kart racer and to this day it's alright. I just don't play it anymore since there isn't enough content like Kart Rider.
Crash is another Kart racer similar to Mario but I never was into it.
You're right Kart Rider is way more interesting due to the complicated driving mechanics.
Try checking out the games on Youtube. There are tons of gameplay videos.

    Cool.
I only speak the truth. There's no content in Mario Kart.
They can make it happen but they don't so why should I even bother with it?
I'm trying to get all my buddies that plays Mario Kart to try Kart Rider. I am hoping for the devs. get it right so my buddies can have the same awesome kart experience as I have experienced. Until the next round of Beta with bugs fixed hopefully they understood the feedback we the racers have given to them. If not then MORE feedback.

In my opinion the "BETA" thing is not the problem, there a lot of gameplay problem that needs to be solve. The game is not fun and i'm compare with the old version and the mobile one, and this is just awful. Collision, items, lobby and the races just feels bad, boring, not clean and slow.

Here are the Kart/Minicar games I have:
    https://imgur.com/sRY8TL5

In my opinion, the ones with the best storyline-based single-player campaigns are: the Crash Team Racing series, Meow Motors and Diddy Kong Racing.

I would like KartRider Drift to have a good fun storyline-based single-player campaign too.

Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed has the overall most fun gameplay though.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is the only game in the set that still has an active online racing community like KartRider Drift.

    Best wishes.

The devs have to step up and improve the gameplay, this for me is unnaceptable.

First of all, there is no interaction with players, so, all the time u feel alone in the game.

Second, gameplay is bad... drift is too weird compare the original game and even mobile game, collision is really awful, and some items just feels bad, like magnet or misile.

Third, there's a lot of thing that should got this game, like the old levels system (gloves), emoticons, chat, effects in the waiting room and the loading should be faster.

Last words... the game itself feels boring, is just too slow, the drift+boost is not right (not even close like the original game), some maps feels too shorts and the collision is the worst thing of the game.

Please Nexon, improve the game, is not just a "beta" things, it's feel like the game is in the wrong direction.
I hope some GM read this... regards from Chile! STAY AT HOME

Hi, For me the multiplayer racing gameplay is ok/good, but I agree that being able to interact with other racers would be more fun and reduce that "isolated" feel (e.g. via preset character voice effects and horns etc., probably not direct messaging). I think the devs made the control system hard/complex so that people could build up skill (think e-sports). I'm not good at the controls yet. Interestingly, I tried playing on PC (fast PC) but found there was bad control lag (e.g. laggy left/right steering) compared to when playing on Xbox One, so I'm sticking with Xbox. Your Third point is a good one! Best wishes.
