That's just a few impressions from the MHJ livestream few minutes ago. I know it's still the beta phase. But sadly, alot of players made the experience with Nexon, that they adding new stuff constantly, but NOT fixing existing problems. So I want mention this at a very early stage, that Nexon take this problem as serious. Because such bugs can be really a game destroyer.

I'm afraid to say that physics are very broken / simplistic and remind me of UE4 wheel physics tutorials.
The walls are very sticky as if they have a layer of glue, not kicking the kart back when driving against them. Compare the collision of Brodi with the downhill wall in these two videos: Remake and Classic.
It's like there's no reaction on / noticeable resolval of collisions. Many gameplay videos show hitting other karts which plays the collision sound over and over until you resolve the collision by normal driving means. That feels like a rookie physics error.

Also, where's the chat? I see no chat in the lobby or game. That will definitely kill the game for me. It feels like racing against robots, as in Mario Kart 8 with those useless predefined messages. Socializing in this game is one of its core features which puts it ahead of other fun racers.
And because of this, the missing player avatars / karts in a game room / ready stage and game lists also need to be reintroduced as in the classic game, currently you only see pseudonymous names and apparently get auto matched - boo.

Since Nexon Korea apparently still applies bigger changes to the game (the video captured by the OP is from a later build than the one shown in XO19, note the new item icons), I have hope things get changed for CBT or at least OBT given the short time until CBT is out.

    See you on track!

I literally laughed at the pictures posted here lol. Silly glitches. Hopefully easy fixes.

I share the same concerns. The social aspect was so important back in the day. Hopefully there is some form of social system at launch.

Yea, I noticed this as well - it's like the physics are really unfinished yet.

I hope it's not only xbox optimized which would actually means voice chat only.

That magnet thing looks intentional and to be honest I kinda like it. Like, using it while too close to the target kart can screw you over so you have to choose the right time to use it effectively.

that's not true at all. xbox supports and uses text chat for many games. Especially if cross play enabled.

as for the main topic, the collision physics are different than classic, but I wouldn't call them broken or bugged. Funny, definitely. game breaking, not at all. I wouldn't have any issues with them moving forward with that, it would create hilarious scenarios and encounters.

This is the lag/problem I am seeing.
I am sure everyone is facing it.
Please get this fixed FIRST before releasing any new CONTENT...
    Thank you Nexon.
